Instead of dwelling on the imperfection, I just made the best of it and satin stitched it onto the chiffon with a polyester thread from Quilters Select and it created this beautiful purple shift in the satin stitch

I have often found, if I am going to an event where there is going to be a lot of photos taken, to steer away from slip/silk like material

My other feedback for the producers of this dress: 1) the zipper pull on the back is too small/flimsy/tiny
