It could also have a home as a sideboard card against decks with creatures and walkers where life does not matter as much, but this is hard to say without testing

Its a proactive strategy with minimal reactionary spells in the maindeck and has a good game plan against the unknown

While Subtlety isn't as good, it still holds some value in control decks that want to get rid of an early aggressive creature or planeswalker
