Stealing cards or playing them from exile isnt an uncommon mechanic in Gruul, but its the entire theme of the deck which makes for a nice refreshing style of gameplay
Discard was quickly thrown out and replaced with direct damage, mainly to keep purple from playing like a traditional blue-black control deck (ironically, this made it play somewhat like blue-red, the two colors that mix to create purple, but this was a coincidence)
Decks must have only one or two ink types, so when adding cards and building their own decks, players must keep this in mind
We can't wait to celebrate another year of Pride with the Magic community, and we look forward to sharing more about this event soon
