First I hand dyed the linen in Indigo using shibori folding and sewing techniques

Some has polka dots silkscreened with water based textile ink

The process starts with washed medium weight linen

Each square is a recycled 100% linen piece that has been first hand stitched with the shapes to form a resist. They are then hand dyed individually in my organic indigo dye vat. Each square is thoroughly washed 3 times and fixed, then pressed and sewn into a larger and larger piece with time. The lining is a linen rayon that is hand dyed with fiber reactive dyes of teal and navy. The full
