While Steam Vents is perhaps the single most played card in the 2020 Challenger Decks , it is rotating from Standard in the fall, so it loses some value if you don't play Pioneer, Commander, or Modern (although you'll always be able to sell or trade it for a decent price), while the rest of the good long-term cards from the Fires Friends deck are uncommon planeswalkers that aren't really all that expensive and will probably be even less so once the new supply from the Challenger Decks hits the market
I say things like Deaths Shadow is easy to play, but thats really Deaths Shadow is easy to play if your job has been playing games with these cards since Bitterblossom was in Standard. Im a very heuristics-based player, and fortunately for you that lets me put a lot of the tips and tricks for what I know about these cards into easy-to-digest snippets
Even the seven mana is more than achievable in green
The combination of always being able to attack (because of the pump ability) and repeatedly shooting down small creatures (with the 1/1 ability) can essentially lock decks full of little creatures out of the game once it gets going
You can search up a library for a major threat and drop it down and keep on going
