Lot 137 - Antique Handmade Thread-Wrapped Star Frame with Portrait Photograph of a Woman, Inscribed "Lindie Mallow", 7" W x 7" H Richoffice447 Shows expected surface wearAntique handmade eight pointed star frame constructed from cardstock wrapped in cream and gold thread, with an octagonal opening displaying a portrait photograph of a woman in a high collared dark dress. The photograph is inscribed in ink "Lindie Mallow" (or similar). The reverse shows the wrapped thread pattern with loose threads at the center and edges. The frame shows wear with some thread loosening and fraying, particularly at the top hanger area.
