To create the artwork I added the detail of the penny farthing bike

The sun was at a perfect angle to hi-light the colour and shape which resembled a ballerina's  dress

so not being able to  let this opportunity  pass the next day I photographed about a hundred of them

as seen in this drawing of the cat napping by the fire

especially the details of some of these cars

Synchronised Swimmers.sq. Australian original art print. bird on a branch To create the artwork IPreparing desert one evening involved the slicing of a kiwi fruit. One particular slice was very clear in its detail and sent my imagination into a spin. It looked like a dam with swimmers in a circle. I consequently photographed it so that I could add the detail to become "Synchronised swimmers". By adding the red head caps and drawing in the splashing feet, legs and arms, every one else could see it as well. NOTE: A copy of the original photo is
