Pommele is the French term for dappled and it is especially apt for describing highly figured woods like bubinga when the so called quilted or blistered looks are present. Purpleheart is very purple when first cut and darkens to a warm brown after exposure to the light. The table is 18 inches in diameter and 16 inches high.
