This moves through the maritime to the cityscape in the distance and back again through the delightful maze of cranes on the right

It was silent and magical and as we drifted in

It leaves an abundance of food for the many wading birds that flock here

but at the time I painted this

I wanted to capture the way it looks on a bright day as one stands outside and also in a summers evening time as one may have approached for a party back in the 1700s

I have always enjoyed the artistic challenge of a city scape. Landmarks, streets and creating a piece where the eye can wander around and bring the viewer on a journey is something I love to create.
