Rare 1840's French Porcelain Bonneted Damsel Head, Fabulous Novelty Inkwell Painting with some very small dentsWe are offering A circa 1840's French Porcelain hand painted Lady Head Figural Novelty Inkwell. An almost infinite variety of small figural and novelty inkwells were made in the early to mid 1800's. She has a single opening for the ink cavity and a single cavity for the Quill or pen. The top cavity on the inkwell is for the ink and the bottom one is to hold the pen. Approx. Dimensions: Length 3 3 4" Width: 2 1 4" Height: 1 3 4" Condition: Very good
