Choli W 300 - 600 A dokra technique casting fromCholi, Mochi tribe, Kutch, Gujarat, NW India. A choli is a womans top, often with little at the back. The sleeves, back and lower front are made from a very fine red silk and metal thread material, possibly a jacquard type loom textile. The cuffs are metal wrapped thread material in which the metal appears to be silver and is very dense. The main front panel is embroidered with traditional Gujarati patterns.
