The pewter has developed a rich natural patina over time

The set is reminiscent of some french mid-century pieces but the labels on each piece are in English and read 'This piece was made by' but the pencil has faded over the years and the name is illegible

Pair of European early 20th Century Realist Portraits The Roost I've photographed anything that IPair of portraits dating to the first half of the 20th century, in a realist style. Thought to be Italian, oil on canvas, with signatures to the reverse (unfortunately indistinct). Beautifully executed strong use of colour and a carefully balanced, almost mathematical composition. Left in the frames we found them; some will love them as they are, others might go simpler. H 51cm W 45cm Canvas H 23cm W 17cm
