'Little Brown Dog' pin cushion/needle holder (LW343) Bowls often using sketching from nature'Little Brown Dog' pin cushion needle holder by Louise Watson These little animals were inspired by the artist Mary Fedden 1915 2012. She made small lions out of scraps of fabric and thread to mark the birth of relatives and friends children. I made one for myself as a needle keeper companion while I sew. Although I started with brave little lions, I then made other characters. I hope I may inspire you to make one yourself, if not these are for sale
