Poul Friis Nybo, Interior Scene With Woman At The Piano Germany Hans Ulmer was a painterThis gentle interior scene by Poul Friis Nybo (1869 1929) sensitively depicts a young lady playing the piano by candlelight. Several artworks, including portraits, hang on the wall behind. Perhaps its a nightly recital to ancestors that have passed. Nybo cherished these quiet moments and often produced introspective scenes featuring women writing, reading or undertaking crafts. The painting is signed and housed within a period frame.
