Study (Colour) john-piper-capesthorne-1 Etching with aquatint with soft-groundSoft ground etching on wove paper. Signed 'Helen Phillips' in pencil. Not numbered, and quite possibly a trial proof before the print run, or a one off print. Not dated, but probably from the late 1940s or 1950s. A beautiful and rare print from this artist who was married to Stanley William Hayter
