The soda firing teacup is characterised by the various bright colors which come into being on the surface of unglazed teacup with a reaction between soda and clay in the wood fired kiln. The appearance of clay moves between various shades of green , blue and dark red, looking like aurora displayed in the sky. The vitrified surface offers nice tactile quality
