Callistemon 'Wetland's Challenged Mutant’, Bottlebrush hummingbird favorite Mature size: 6-12 ft TOne of the best of the Callistemon we have grown in the gardens of Dancing Oaks. It is reliable throughout bouts of cold, heat, or drought. In contrast to the wider than tall red flowered 'Eleanor', this selection has an upright habit of being almost twice as tall as wide, reaching 7 feet tall in about 8 years. It flowers profusely with luminous, creamy yellow spikes in mid summer. The narrow, olive green leaves are an attractive texture in the garden
