The dress is constructed with lace over a black taffeta base fabric I believe that the lace is Chantilly. It has cap sleeves, a sweetheart shaped neckline and is cut so that the skirt flares out at the bottom to form a fishtail at the back. The bodice is decorated down the centre with 13 matching lace covered buttons and the dress has a metal zipper closure at the left side. Age: 1930s
