The leather is a little hardened

The helmet has one drill holes on the rim adjacent the chin strap bales

Slight corrosion to one corner of the tin  and hinge where there may have been a slight leak from one of the tubes

Average condition for age, some wear and tear, light holing in a couple of places at the base, will sew up nicely. Maker marked J. W. Johnson 1943.
