Forged of high carbon steel (ANSI 1095), the blade hath been tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 59 (HRC 5860), and sharpened to a fine edge ready for daily duty or field use. This particular blank: Possesses a full tang and a flat ground blade for strength and steadfast service. The handle end is shaped in the fashion of a French knife.
