I believe this was taken outside the Zeidler Democratic Club in the Queens area of New York. I've seen this image printed elsewhere incorporating a date of 2 August 1942, which makes sense it's early war as one of the soldiers on the banner is wearing the early war Kelly helmet. Location noted elsewhere as being 55th
