The wool is woven in a plaid pattern in muted colored of maroon
The lace is backed with a pale green nylon (I could not capture the pale green color in the photos) and there is a pale green organdy nylon type band above the bust
It is in very good condition with the exception of wear to the top edge - it appears that the original owner had glued something to the top edge and when I removed the dried glue remnants
It was quite expensive with a demi like this selling for $50 during the 1940s
