Made in Selb, Germany circa 1950s. Rosenthal Germany marking on base identifying the production era. This bud vase form is referred to as the 'Kummet' (horse collar) style because of its resemblance to a yoke. It is elegant and elongated with two openings. The piece has a high gloss white glaze. A collectible piece of the German Op Art pottery movement.
