Turquoise Ironwood Box dad marine fish (cartilaginous and bony)Artist Larry Favorite was a mechanical engineer on the fast track for success in the business world back in the early 1970s when he decided to leave his business career to pursue a growing interest in art. Forty five years later, Favorite continues to work exclusively with desert ironwood which is only found in the Sonoran Desert in the American southwest.
