Whilst a student, in 1925, Jacobsen participated in the Paris Art Deco fair, Exposition Internationale des Arts Dcoratifs et Industriels Modernes, where he won a silver medal, for his first furniture design, which was a chair made in rattan, simply called The Paris Chair. Produced by Sika as part of the Icons range. With the utmost respect to the original designs, Sika has put the chairs of Arne Jacobsen,
