Rougheye Rockfish Balsa Ornament sloth Using an age old sand-castingThe rougheye rockfish can live to be over 200 years old, making it one of the oldest living fish. They grow to be about 3 ft long and they have 2 to 10 spines on the lower rim of their eye. Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand carved and then painted with non toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
