From a collection of traditional Folk costume a hand painted chintz babies bonnets from Marken, The Netherlands circa 1800's. This little bonnet one is made from a delightful floral polished chintz in indigo blues, coral pinks & peat brown. The bonnet has been finished with a traditional blue and white trim all around the outer edges. We believe the lining has been replaced at a later date. These bonnets were worn
