使用單一年份採收的葡萄，利用放血法細緻的萃取出香氣與顏色。放血法(Saignée)，是指透過浸皮將黑皮諾的果皮與榨好的果汁接觸，依時間長短萃取出不同程度的紅色。明亮的寶石紅色，帶有令人愉悅的新鮮紅色水果、黑醋栗和李子派的香氣。濃郁的酒香與隱藏在餘味中的一絲甜味完美的融為一體。
釀造：1988年起Pierre Morey擔任Domaine Leflaive的首席釀酒師十載，80年代開始關注有機種植與自然動力法，意圖回復葡萄園生命力，夏多內榨汁後靜置24~48小時，再以小橡木桶野生酵母發酵，黑皮諾100%去梗，不採皮淋汁，營造優雅自然的風格。
