This is a highly decorative antique heraldic emblem made from a variety of antique fabrics and depicting a castle or folly on a central shield topped by a crown or coronet

Made from open work hand hardwood  with intertwining leaves and a honeycomb latticework these would look wonderful on either side of a fireplace or against a dark painted wall

An wonderful early C1900s French antique printed wallhanging of a medieval inspired 17th century tapestry. This has it all, a pretty landscape with castles and decorative architecture and in the foreground a shepherd in medieval dress with a flock of sheep, and decorative banners with Latin inscriptions. This is a copy of a medieval tapestry but we havent been able to find which one as yet. Watch this space! Its an excellent copy and
