Famille Bourgrier L'Artiste Gamay
on my honeymoon
The Pinots were probably among the earliest varieties to have been selected from wild grapes in west central Europe
"Our philosophy has always been to produce premium wines
Old vineyards located between 300-600m above sea level are grown on a mixture of clay and volcanic soils using the Guyot system with limited yields allowing for the production of outstanding wines with incredible food matching potential
Chateau Marquis de Terme Margaux 2016 Grape Variety > Red Grapes > Sangiovese Famille Bourgrier L'Artiste GamayChateau Marquis de Terme Margaux 2016 Tasting Note 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from a lovely vintage. Deep ruby colour. Ripe red cherry, blackberry, pepper, licorice and lightly floral notes on the nose and palate. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and soft, with aromas of black cherry, red fruits, leather, cocoa and spice. Good tannin structure, and will pair well with red meat game.
