first edition pikachu pokemon card Three months into collecting Pokémon cards, and boy has it escalated quickly. I set guardrails early to keep this hobby sane: Japanese modern slabs only, no vintage. Running two expensive hobbies in cementing its place as a must Pikachu 1st Edition - Neo

While you would think it would be hard to compete with the masterpieces that were the first two sets, Into the Inklands managed to somehow outdo themselves in their third set

UR Ultra Rare Animadorned Archosaur X LIGHT Level 1 [ DinosaurEffect ] ATK 0 DEF 0 If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can destroy 1 Dinosaur monster in your hand or face-up field, except "Animadorned Archosaur", then add 1 Reptile, Sea Serpent, or Winged Beast monster with the same original Level as that destroyed monster, OR 1 "Evolution Pill" Spell, from your Deck to your hand

Other Link monsters you want on the battlefield include Firewall Dragon and A Bao A Qu, The Lightless Shadow which can cut off your opponent from the combo, stopping their turn entirely

Why not just throw some chaos in there and be done with it

Thats a little simplified, but thats the basic issue I have with the card
