Alcremie from the Vivid Voltage set has a damage-dealing move called Wonder Shine that is guaranteed to inflict confusion upon the active foe, which forces their trainer to flip a coin when they attack and risks taking 30 damage from a flip resulting in a tails outcome

You can break this effect in something like Neera, Wild Mage by having a bunch of scry effects and expensive spells, but even then it could still easily backfire and kill you

Explore is less reliable but more relevant in the late game

Lucario alternate art This Lucario card may take the cake artwork-wise from the entire set

Limited is all about positioning and card advantage, both of which are hamstrung by having fewer starting cards than the opponent
