Bushido is a fine, simple mechanic, but I find it a bit lacking

We have seen power creep in most areas of magic (only really excluding mana acceleration), both ultimately over the whole existence of the game, and more consistently in recent history too

Things like Onakke Oathkeeper, Fog Bank, Wall of Denial, and Silent Arbiter will make it difficult for your opponents to attack and get creatures through

Its a bit slow, but you should be able to bargain something away in a pinch
