Mutate was a mechanic introduced in Magic The Gathering's Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths (though it first appeared on a card in the Unsanctioned set)
The most important advice I can give is to continue to experiment with all the different keywords until you find a playstyle you enjoy
And if I offer you one, you might just take a look and say, Ah, no thanks. But if I toss a bunch of candy in a piata and it all spews to the ground on the vessels dramatic destruction, you might just race forward and hoover it all up in the excitement
An Aura put onto the battlefield this way can enchant an artifact, land, or creature that was already put onto the battlefield, but can't enchant an enchantment that's being put onto the battlefield at the same time as it
So for a rough example, there'd be a red legend named "Kandor, the Warrior," but then there'd also be a white legend named "Kandor, the Farmer," and the art would depict the same person, with the idea being that we're representing two different potential paths that his life could have taken
