At least with this mechanical Dragon we get that firebreathing (one red mana equals one point of added power) spread across your entire mechanical army

(This is the same reason I've stopped playing Phyrexian Arena in Standardit's just too risky with Sheoldred being so heavily played.) In Modern, the card could be a Seismic Assault replacement and does have the huge, huge upside of only requiring one red mana (although it does cost one more mana overall), but is it going to be fast enough
