Players also got a look at Sting, Bilbo's Sword, turning the hobbits iconic Elven blade into an Equipment card, and Desolation of Smaug, a powerful sorcery that deals three damage to each non-dragon creature and adds four mana that can be spent only on dragon spells

From there, I pick out the cards I find most likely to perform well in my deck, playtest, and then adjust as needed for my playgroup
