While there's no indication of more Energy cards being printed in upcoming sets, Wizard of the Coast's willingness to revisit the mechanic in different formats and releases might be a clue that we haven't seen the last of this mechanic
Make sure you have a good amount of Basic Pokmon so you can get them into play quickly, then have a smaller number of Pokmon at Stage 1 that evolve from the Basic Pokmon you have, and an even smaller selection of Stage 2 Pokmon
For the benefit of anyone fairly new to the Pokmon TCG, 'trainer's Pokmon' have an extra logo on them which indicates they belong to a specific named character from the Pokmon universe

Both of these cards work exceptionally well with Karumonix, because when his enter the battlefield ability triggers, youre likely to draw multiple copies of them and each copy makes your board substantially better
