Description

It shines in a niche build-around strategy with mostly basic Lands

Wizards wants you to be able to play all the cards, and demanding ones like Corpsejack Menace and Lessons from Life go sour if you're missing a color

Step 5: Picking a Ratio of Creatures and Spells How many creatures you decide to play will partly be dependent on your deck type

Then the Rings tempts you

If Machine God's Effigy copies a planeswalker that became a creature due to an effect, Machine God's Effigy will have that planeswalker's loyalty abilities but its only card type is artifact (it will still be legendary in most cases)
