#19 beakedbard, if I remember correctly I think you do take 1 drink if your spell gets countered, but we might have voted against that since not everyone runs counters
I still play a couple of copies of Opt to enable Pteramander anyways, and our Salamander Drake friend is certainly fine, but were mainly playing it over other options just as an additional way to enable early Lofty Denials rather than for the late-game power it used to provide
