There will be staples that wind up on the cutting room floor from time to time, but by and large there should be no reasonable strategic ground for excluding the card from your list

For example, if a nontoken artifact that's become a creature is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, Mimic Vat's first ability triggers and you may exile that card

Spell Stutter It's a little hard to describe what makes this great, but it is easy to see

Portal Manipulator might be my favorite though, offering a UW version of Settle the Wreckage + Portal Mage

Its good at loading your graveyard, getting value out of Enchantments, and giving you Zombie upside
