Riverchurn Monument is the kind of mill card that scares me, because it tends to combo with a bunch of mill favorites like Bruvac, Phenax, God of Deception, and ways to make players mill a lot of cards (Maddening Cacophony, anyone?)
It's not a crazy inventive strategy with infinite or broken combos, but if you focus on the goal of bringing your opponent's life to 0, what's that the captain says
A common sequence of plays is a turn 2 Cogworker's Puzzleknot into a turn 3 Maverick Thopterist followed up by Herald of Anguish on turn 4
Their weirder interactions are fun if you understand them, but you must explain them every time you play against someone for the first time, and your opponent never quite believes you at first
