I was going to title this section "A Cast of Thousands" but this is a 100-card format and the surprise is that we actually do have an impressive number of mono-Black elves to run in this deck

Drawing cards has become a lot easier for all colors, and even white is managing to draw cards more effectively than it has done in the past

But in a compromise scenario, I believe each of the legendary creatures or planeswalkersmaybe not Spike, Tournament Grindershould be legal as Commanders, but that I am not personally in favor of making all silver-bordered cards legal because it would create too long of banned list to remove the unfun cards

Its an obvious strategy thats revealed the moment an opponent reads your commander, but it still operates consistently and effectively
