A lot of people I know gripe about this card because it costs five mana and not four like Grave Pact but for one extra mana you're paying for an easier casting cost and this nice little thing called FLASH

This card also works well in a deck that produces a lot of artifact tokens like Treasure or Clue tokens

The basic idea is that a flashlight on full blast will cut through a legit card and show through on the other side, while a counterfeit card will either block the light completely or dull it significantly

It almost feels like overkill - we think this Teferi has an unnatural potential to really upset your opponents

If we want to get super technical looking we can say that the threat of a card is a product of it's kill index and a measure of it's survivability
