Its started seeing some play in Standard and Pioneer control decks, though time will tell if it makes its way into other formats
you wont be starting with any of the top tier 1-4 * monsters (who can be summoned without any general restrictions) like many of the Duelists will, putting you on the backfoot from the start, and theres no indication as to which boosters contain what cards (outside of its signature card, i.e Dark Magician or Red-Eyes Black Dragon) which could help with building towards a particular deck
In the future, I plan to trade the Alakazam ex, along with some of the more common cards, with friends so that we can fill some gaps in the collection
Like most Pokmon cards, the value of Magneton depends on a few consistent factors: its rarity, the printing and finish (regular or foil), its physical condition, and the set it was printed in (BREAKthrough)
