You now have three colourless mana floating, and can do it again: tap Basalt Monolith to make three more colourless mana, pay three to untap it, copy the ability using two colourless and Rings of Brighthearth, untap Basalt Monolith once, tap it to make three more colourless, and then untap it with the copied ability
If that spell would be put into a graveyard this turn, exile it instead. Basically, its a Snapcaster Mage but for someone elses spells, and thats great
I wont get into the science of subgrades this week (that could be a subject for an entire article), but these two copies were basic 9.5s because they had one subgrade of just 9.0
If two or more effects attempt to modify how many counters would be put onto a permanent you control, you choose the order to apply those effects, no matter who controls the sources of those effects
