Its a solid card on its own and youd definitely want to run it in a mouse typal deck
The same is true for first strike, double strike, deathtouch, hexproof, haste, indestructible, lifelink, menace, reach, trample, and vigilance
We'll use Junkblade Bruiser as an example: Trample Whenever you expend 4, Junkblade Bruiser gets +2/+1 until end of turn
If your Commander has Choose a Background, you may choose any one Background card that will essentially function as a second Commander, adding its color identity to your deck, and following the rules of Commander tax and going back to the command zone when it would move from the battlefield to anywhere else
A Near Mint card may have slight edge wear or a scratch or three, but overall look nearly unplayed with no major defects
