While there are tons of limitations when it comes to building decks of this style, the brilliance of restriction makes for a unique experience

Your only real payoffs are basically the Thriving cycle from Kaladesh (Thriving Grubs, Thriving Rats, Thriving Rhino) and the Aether creature cycle from Aether Revolt (Aether Chaser, Aether Poisoner, Aether Swooper)
I like Grapple with the Past for its MV, but there are other similar cards
