Honestly, even without Dryad Arbor, Im a little afraid of it in Devoted Druid combo decks, but at least Im only really worried about it there and not also in Infect, G/W Hexproof, Primeval Titan strategies, any Tarmogoyf deck, etc etc
Now, couldn't I just use wildcards for the last few Rares and notably cut down on the long tail
Senior game designer Daniel Holt explained that the decision to have each deck themed around one game allowed the team to "dive deep into the lore of each, capturing even more beloved moments from across the games storyline." When asked exactly how Wizards of the Coast came to choose the games that would be included in the crossover (I'm slightly disappointed Final Fantasy 9 didn't make the cut), Holt explained that Final Fantasy 7 and 14 were the clear picks due to their popularity, but that Final Fantasy 6 and 10 were chosen partially due to how many fans of those games were among the Wizards of the Coast team
It was quickly abandoned once the character decided to switch to a "Heroic" deck
