Once Tearlament cards hit the graveyard they have various different effects but the main one is the ability to fusion summon a monster by shuffling cards from the graveyard back into the deck

The Gitrong Monster generally runs a lot of creatures that can tap for mana, so if you have to sacrafice too many lands you'll still have mana sources

At this point, almost everyone who isnt playing this deck has been trying to come up with ways to specifically counter itand these methods have clearly been failing because of how overpowered this card is

In the next few weeks and months we'll see if the hype truly is cooling off with this set, or if the heat of these Phantasmal Flames is not missing, but just delayed
